BMSC delivers training sessions on Leadership and management principles

From 14 to 21 November the second module of classroom activity of the one-year blended learning Border Security and Management for Senior Leadership Course was held at the BMSC. The main topics covered were decision-making models of leadership and situational leadership theory. The 16 participants were drawn from border security and management agencies of nine countries. The training sessions were led by experts from the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) and the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences. As preliminary information was delivered via the e-learning platform, the training sessions focused on practical examples, illustrating on how to translate this knowledge into practice. The study sessions were held in the framework of the second Border Security and Management for Senior Leadership (BSMSL) one-year blended learning course designed and organized in close co-operation with DCAF.
