On 25-26 October the PCUz organized in Tashkent a national workshop on countering the use of Internet for terrorist purposes. The event was jointly planned and implemented with the Action against Terrorism Unit (ATU) of the OSCE Secretariat’s Transnational Threat Department (TNTD). The event brought together 40 judges, prosecutors and investigators from across Uzbekistan. During the workshop participants exchanged experiences with 13 international experts from Canada, Israel, Italy, Portugal, the Russian Federation, the Anti-Terrorism Centre of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
