Summary

On 15-17 December, the Project Co-ordinator in Uzbekistan (PCUz) conducted a training led by trainers from the UK for a group of 25 law enforcement officers representing the Ministry of Interior and the Police Academy.

It was organized in the framework of the PCUz project “Capacity Building to the Human Rights Chair at the Police Academy” and aimed at enhancing understanding of individual and systemic actions as well as legal and professional responsibilities, necessary to ensure compliance with national and international standards on the prevention of torture.
