EUROPOL annual expert conference on child sexual exploitation

Description

This conference aims at raising awareness among EU and non-EU member states of best practice in supporting child abuse investigations, identifying loopholes in national and international legislation, discussing national case studies and involvement of international and non-governmental organisations and sharing experiences to promote the best practice.

Summary

The first day of the conference will focus on the sexual exploitation of children perpetrated on the internet and it will be open to law enforcement experts of the European Union Member States (EU MS) and non-EU MS, and to experts from European institutions, EU agencies and international organisations.

The second and third days will focus on "travelling sex offenders" and on "public-private cooperation" and they will be open to non governmental organisations and private sector representatives.

The language of the event is English and no interpretation will be provided.
