On 25 November the 16 Days campaign against human trafficking and domestic violence was launched with a series of awareness-raising activities planned by the Office in Tajikistan (including Field Offices) in five target regions of Tajikistan, in co-operation with local authorities and civil society.
In anticipation of the campaign, the Office published 7,000 leaflets with information on human trafficking and domestic violence and contact data of available services for victims within Tajikistan.
A specialized Training Curricula on counteracting domestic violence, targeting Police Academy cadets, was also published, in Tajik and Russian languages.
