Summary

On 3 July, the Mission to Serbia supported the CSO Belgrade Center for Security Policy (BCSP) and the MoI in designing a workshop for a total of ten police staff and representatives of nine CSOs. Discussions focused on modalities, size and strength of organized crime in Serbia.

Participants exchanged information and worked together with different analytical tools to map social factors that influence organized crime in Serbia. As a result, the inputs of the CSOs will be taken into account in the further implementation of the project, which aims at the development of both a national and regional Serious and Organised Crime Threat Assessment (SOCTA) as a part of Serbia’s EU integration process.
