The course brings together important elements of border security management and helps students understand international standards, use modern methods and technologies to prevent transnational crime. Among the topics taught are: management and control of borders; risk analysis models; intelligence information analysis; detection of fraudulent documents and impostors; anti-corruption techniques; combatting trafficking in humans, drugs, and weapons; preventing money laundering; leadership and management techniques; and human rights issues.
