E-lecture to be aired from the United Nations Information Service by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, in cooperation with the University of Vienna (Austria)

  • Does personal involvement in sport decrease or increase drug abuse and crime?
  • How does doping, organised crime and corruption undermine fair play?
  • What and how countermeasures work to make sport a contribution to preventing drug abuse and crime?
  • What the United Nations do for preventing drug abuse and crime through sport?

A panel of eminent international experts will present a global overview of the above topics and discuss the related countermeasures to violence, crime and other uncivil behaviour.
