Description

The goal of this meeting is to exchange information about the projects completed in 2009 and plans for 2010, with the purpose to provide a forum for co-ordination and information sharing, thus preventing overlap in implemented projects.

Summary

On 24 November, the Mission organised the Annual Policing Meeting which focused on the ongoing process of police reform in Montenegro. Participants included 30 representatives of the Police Directorate, Police Academy, the Mission, International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Programme Department of Justice (ICITAP), US Embassy, International Organization for Migration, Delegation of the European Commission to Montenegro, Turkish International Development and co-operation Agency (TIKA), Export Controls and Related Border Security (EXBS) - US Embassy in Belgrade, Swedish National Police Board and representatives of the UK, Italian,  Slovenian and Turkish Embassies.
