Summary

On 6-10 July, the Presence in Albania supported the training of 20 police officers (inspectors and vice commissars) from the Gjirokastra regional directorate on the topics of diversity, hate crimes, domestic violence and anti-trafficking. The five-day intensive training focused on case studies and standard operational procedures based on best practices.

Roma community representatives participated in the session on diversity and hate crimes and presented their community needs. This is the third of a series of six training sessions to be held in 2015.
