Summary

On 16 April the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) adopted the Ministry of Security’s Report on Implementation of the BiH Strategy for Prevention of and Fight against Terrorism for the period 2010 – 2013.

In addition, the BiH Council of Ministers passed a decision on the establishment of the working group tasked to develop a new BiH counter-terrorism strategy for 2014 - 2017. It will address recommendations from the Report on implementation of the 2010 – 2013 strategy.

BiH Chief Prosecutor Mr. Goran Salihović will lead the working group. The Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina will support its work and participate in an observer status. Once adopted, the new counter-terrorism strategy will be presented to the wider BiH security community.
