On 1 July the Project Co-ordinator in Baku (PCiB) organized the first meeting of international and national organizations involved in countering human trafficking in Azerbaijan this year. A platform for the co-ordination of activities has been created.
During the meeting, the participants discussed new trends in human trafficking and forced labour. They also expressed willingness to jointly design and implement capacity building activities on key indicators with regards to the identification of traffickied victims and the prosecution of traffickers.
