From 24 to 27 November, the Programme Office in Astana, in co-operation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and its Academy in Karaganda, organized a training seminar on document integrity and advanced methods to detect document forgery for some 30 police officers from across the country.
International experts from Georgia and Slovakia shared best practices, including the key principles of document security, falsification of travel documents, document control, use of polymer substrates, conventional printing techniques and the differences between digital printing techniques, systems of data coding, laminate safeguards, imposter verification, biometric identifiers and tactical profiling.
