Summary

From 20 to 22 January the Office in Tajikistan organised a training course in co-operation with the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Social Employment. The topic of the train-the-trainers (ToT) course was “Parents against terrorism”. It brought together 24 participants from Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and the Dushanbe area.

The course raised awareness of parents about signs of violent extremism. They learned how to recognize signs of radicalization that lead to terrorism. The focus was on vulnerable youth and women from families where men have left the country as labour migrants.
