Summary

The 3rd OSCE Regional Meeting of the Western Balkans Security Co-operation/Law Enforcement Programs was held in Podgorica, Montenegro.

Participanats of the meeting were heads and designated programme’s representatives of the OSCE Field offices (FO)  from Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia, as well as directors od the OSCE’s Department for Combatting Transnational Threats (TNTD) and Police Strategic Matters Unit/ TNTD from Vienna.  

The purpose of the meeting was to exchange the information about the current activities and actual trends in the security sector reform in the respective host countries. In addition, FOs learned about the Secretariat’s approach and plans for addressing transnational trends and organised crime in 2015. The working visit was organized to the Police Forensic Centre and Police academy in the scope of the meeting.
