Summary

The Presence in Albania, in partnership with the Central Election Commission and the General Prosecutor’s Office, is contributing to the training of police officers on the duties of police related to the upcoming local elections and international best practices in this regard.

The training sessions, which started on 24 March and will continue until 30 April, target more than 100 high- and mid-level police officers, including deputy general directors and regional police chiefs.

Consistent with the Presence’s vision for sustainability, the training includes six groups of trainers, who will, in turn, cascade the training to over 6,000 police officers.
