Summary

Between 3-10 and 14-20 August the Office in Yerevan continued to mentor and participate in the work of the Independent Admissions Commission (IAC), monitoring the admission process to the Police Academy and the Police College. The IAC was established by the Office’s initiative in 2011 with the intention to organize and implement a fair and transparent admission process as well as to reduce corruption risks. Ten positions for female applicants are envisaged in each institution. For the 2015/2016 academic year the following number of applicants were admitted: 30 (including ten females) to the Police Academy and 41 (including 11 females) to the Police College.
