Description

The conference is aimed at gathering representatives of investigation, forensic and operational-search police units, faculty members of police training and law institutions, police managers, academics and researchers in this field to discuss and exchange experience on the issues of detection, investigation and prevention of crimes and organization of police investigation and forensic expertise.

Summary

The conference featured two sections:

  • Criminal science, theory and practice of forensic expertise;
  • Criminal-procedural and operational-search aspects of detecting and investigating crimes.

Working languages of the conference are Russian and English; translation was provided. Proceedings of the conference were be published and disseminated.

Please note that participants are responsible for their own travel and living expenses. The organizers encourage interested participants to contact the OSCE missions in their countries and/or other donor organizations to seek funding opportunities.
