This workshop aims to inform participants on the legislative, operational and practical implications of using UAVs and encourage sharing of their own national experiences in this emerging field.
This expert-level event, organised by the OSCE Transnational Threats Department/Border Security and Management Unit (TNTD/BSMU) upon invitation in co-operation with the UAS Test Center Denmark, took place as part of the OSCE Border Security and Management National Focal Points Network (NFP Network), devoted to emerging technologies in border security and management, in Odense, Denmark on 26-27 October 2015.
The workshop will focus on the application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and related systems in border security and management. The workshop is organized upon the invitation of and in co-operation with the UAS Test Center Denmark. This activity supports requests from NFPs as well as proposals voiced during the 2015 Annual NFP Network Meeting held in Vienna, on 7-8 May 2015.
