Summary

On the 15-16 May, the Mission and OSCE Presence in Albania, with the Montenegrin Office for Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings (THB) and the Ministry of Interior of Albania organized a meeting in Tirana, to review anti-trafficking co-operation between the two countries.

Attention was given to the Office for Fight against THB’s revised draft protocol on intensifying co-operation against trafficking and on enhancing identification, notification, referral and voluntary assisted return of victims and potential victims between Albania and Montenegro.

As a result of the meeting Montenegro established a team of representatives of the Office for fight Against THB, Police Directorate and the Office of the Prosecutor to harmonize the text of the protocol.
