Training in the investigation of child sexual abuse, delivered by the Mission in Kosovo.
The training provides the common terms used when discussing the abuse of child victims, the language and behavioural analysis of child molesters, victim identification skills, and the internet and trade in child pornography. Particular attention is given to familiarizing police investigators with the best practices, and local and international legislation such as provisions of the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse and other relevant directives of the European Parliament on combating sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of children and child pornography.
