Summary

On 1 June the basic four-week training on patrolling and leadership was completed for 19 Afghan Border Police Officers, mainly coming from the border detachments at the Afghan/Tajik border. The course was held at the Gissar Training Centre. The participants improved their knowledge on patrol planning and management techniques, as well as border patrolling in mountain areas and alpine skills. The course is organized in the framework of the third phase of patrol programming and leadership project.
