Summary

The OSCE Mission in Kosovo delivered a specialized training on the methods, procedures and techniques related to the management of cases involving trafficking in human beings (THB), which targeted twenty investigators of the Kosovo Police Directorate of Investigations in the THB. The training was held from 22 to 26 May and focused on the role of the case manager in investigative operations, challenges and limitations of a case manager, and access to information, with particular emphasis also given to the case management for victims, law enforcement and prosecutors. On the other hand, real case scenarios regarding difficulties and best practices in obtaining evidence from THB victims were discussed and thoroughly analyzed by the participants during the training.
