Summary

On 11 and 12 May, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina in co-operation with the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Council of Ministers’ Inter-ministerial Working Group on the Implementation of the BiH Security Policy (IMWG), organised the BiH Security Policy Short Specialized Course on Prevention of Terrorism and Community Policing.

More than 20 participants from different law enforcement agencies had the opportunity to increase their understanding of the BiH Security Policy, community policing policy and the benefits of its implementation in practice. This course is part of a wider training programme supported by the Mission aimed at improving BiH institutions’ understanding of their role in achieving the effective functioning of the security sector.
