On 15 and 16 May, in co-operation with the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), the Mission to Montenegro monitored police in-service training in Podgorica on integrity and gender conducted by police facilitators who had been trained by the Mission and DCAF in 2015. The training was delivered by two groups of 15 police officers in Bar and Podgorica.
From 17 to 18 May, to help strengthen accountable policing, the Mission and DCAF conducted a workshop on integrity management and strategic planning for 15 police managers in Podgorica. Officials from the Ministry of Interior and Police Directorate gave an overview of the in-service training on integrity and gender organized so far.
