Summary

Supported by the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), the Mission continued the implementation of its two-year project focused on building the capacities of Kosovo Police and the Albanian State Police in the development of the Serious Organized Crime Threat Assessment (SOCTA). From 22 to 26 February in Prishtinë/Priština and from 29 February to 4 March in Tirana, the Mission conducted a mentoring programme with six analysts from each police service, with the purpose of reviewing the content of the first draft of SOCTA report to ensure its compliance with the Europol standards. During this programme, the document was thoroughly reviewed and the participants were further advised by the experts on how to properly structure the data and address shortcomings identified.
