Summary

On 20 October, the POiB handed over 27 closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and other equipment necessary for storing recorded video and images to the Kyrgyz National Guard. The CCTV cameras will be installed at the Shamaldy-Say and Kurp-Say hydro-electric power plants to enhance the security of these strategic energy facilities. The equipment was provided under the agreement on co-operation between the POiB and the National Guard. This was done in the framework of the POiB project on strengthening national capacity to meet politico-military commitments and protect critical energy infrastructure.
