This roundtable is organised by the TNTD's Border Security and Management Unit (BSMU) and Strategic Police Matter Unit (SPMU) in close co-operation with the Office of the Coordinator for Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEAA) and aims at taking stock of past and ongoing initiatives on integrity and countering corruption in border and law enforcement agencies in South-Eastern Europe in an effort to enhance co-ordination of future joint activities in this sphere as well as mutually complement each other’s endeavours in promoting integrity in border and law enforcement agencies in the region.
The Roundtable will convene OSCE FOs, regional anti-corruption organizations as well as state authorities dealing with law enforcement integrity. The event also will enable the participants to develop a roadmap for future OSCE initiatives on countering corruption in border and law enforcement agencies in South-Eastern Europe as well as facilitate the exchange of best practices and lessons learned.
