The course was jointly designed with the Strategic Police Matters Unit and the Italian Carabinieri.

Summary

The five-day course on organised crime offers an update on the current features of the most serious types of organised crime, as well as concrete cases to illustrate how financial record searches, surveillance activities and other special investigative techniques can be applied to investigating cases. The course participants were law enforcement officials from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia. 

The activity is a part of the ExB projectStrengthening the fight against transnational organized crime in South-Eastern Europe through improved regional co-operation in asset seizure, confiscation, management and re-use”.
