Summary

From February to May 2019, the Office enhanced the skills of 110 members of the Public Councils on Police Reform (41 women, 69 men) to P/CVERLT. Five courses were organised in Bokhtar, Khujand and Kulyab, the content of which was aligned to the OSCE’s Community Policing Concept on Countering and Preventing VERLT, as well as the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. The final course, from 2 to 4 May in Khujand, provided advanced training to the 20 most active Public Council members (11 women, nine men) from previous sessions.
