Training of trainers for the mentoring program for women in police

Summary

From 18 to 20 March, the Mission launched a new round of the mentoring program for women in police and held training for seven trainers selected from successful mentors participating in last year’s program. The training focused on the principles and methodology of adult learning, as well as on practical exercises for presentation skills. This training of trainers was followed by a training session on basic gender equality and mentoring from 25 to 27 March for 24 new mentors, who were selected from among female police officers with extensive experience. Similar training for mentees is scheduled for May 2019.
