Recommendation adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 10 September 1997 at the 600th meeting of the Ministers' Deputies
The Council of Europe Committee of Ministers recommends that governments of member states take measures to improve international co-operation and to better protect vulnerable witnesses, especially in relation to cases involving organized crime and crimes occurring within the family.
