Recommendation adopted by the Committee of Ministers on 6 October 2000 at the 724th meeting of the Ministers’ Deputies.
The Council of Europe Committee of Ministers recommends that governments of member states to promote national strategies of early psycho-social intervention, be guided by the principles set out by the declaration and bring this declaration to the attention of all relevant national authorities.
The declaration also addresses issues such as defining the content of early psycho-social intervention programmes and promoting research in this area.
