Evaluation of the quality of the basic police education

Learning is a social and active process. It is expected that the participants are willing and able to participate in an active way in the learning environment. The teachers are responsible for creating a leaning environment that enables the participants to acquire the proper competencies. The participants are responsible for their learning.

At the end of the course the participants will be competent to evaluate of the quality of the basic police education. During the course they will get the opportunity to acquire:

• knowledge about the concepts of evaluation and quality;
• skills in developing instruments for data gathering, processing information and giving feedback;
• experiences in developing an evaluation model;
• an attitude towards valid, reliable and impartial evaluation.
