The project aimed at providing a comprehensive training on public assembly management for the Internal Troops, Police and relevant representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
One of the more important structural parts of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Azerbaijan Republic are the Internal Troops.
The main tasks of Internal Troops are as follows: to protect the interests of individuals, society in general, and the state, as well as uphold the constitutional rights of citizens to be protected from criminal offences; to guard main government facilities and communication hubs; to protect public order and implement appropriate security measures during mass events; to prevent public riots; and other duties defined by the national legislation.
The projects consisted of several parts: seminars for senior officials of the Ministry, Internal Troops and Baku man police department, practical training and command training courses.
