OSCE Mission to Moldova facilitated exchange of experience with Romanian colleagues on anti-trafficking

Summary

On 11-12 May, 15 representatives of Moldovan state institutions, civil society and international organisations traveled to Romania where they were trained on how to better plan and coordinate anti-trafficking policy at the national and local level.

The trip also sought to increase co-operation among social service providers, central and local public authorities, law enforcement agencies and NGO representatives from both countries. The Moldovan delegation met with representatives of the Alba Iulia prefecture, police inspectorate, mayor’s office, Organised Crime and Terrorism Investigation Directorate, Court of Appeals, School Inspectorate, General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection.
