The goal of this lesson is to provide Police Inspectorate staff with an introduction to the theory and practice of the excellent organisation and the need for this skill within PIK.
When you have completed this Lesson you will be able to:
- Define Excellence and Quality and say why they are both important, in every organisation
- Describe the key elements of Total Quality Management
- Identify your own organisation’s attitude and approach to providing Quality and Excellence
- Explain the 3-Step Quality Control process
- Explain the concept of Right First Time, and why it is important
- Describe what is involved in Quality Assurance
- Describe the process of Kaizen – continuous improvement
