Material for a 3-hour lesson, part of the 10-day Firearms Training Course, developed by the Kosovo Police Service School.

Summary

The goal of this lesson is to reinforce the basic principals of marksmanship, to introduce the technique of Sense of Direction Shooting and the basic principles of emergency and tactical reload.

At the end of this lesson the students will be able to:

  1. Identify and apply the safety procedures related to the firing range and its surroundings.
  2. Demonstrate firearms skills and accuracy in aimed and SOD standing positions at assigned distances, load exposures, fires, and exposures, scoring inside the 8-ring only.
