Summary

Between 28 November and 23 December, the OSCE Centre in Bishkek (CiB) conducted a series of two-day seminars on the prevention of violent extremism and radicalization that lead to terrorism (VERLT). These were provided for the employees of Juvenile Delinquency Inspectorate, 10th Main Directorate of the Ministry of Interior (MoI), representatives of local self-government and social protection authorities. The seminars, held in Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad, Talas, Issyk-Kul and Naryn provinces, aimed at increasing public awareness on VERLT through fostering dialogue and co-operation among national stakeholders and communities.
