On 10 February, the Centre in Bishkek (CiB), in co-operation with the Kyrgyz State Customs Service (KSCS), held an opening ceremony of the “Training of Trainers” (ToT) course for six Afghan customs training officers/instructors.
The course consisted of two parts: a) Basic ToT course on how to present the material and how to teach the audience, and b) specialized training on Afghan customs legislation to be used in further trainings of Afghan customs officers. The courses also serve as a platform for exchanging information and best practices between Kyrgyz and Afghan customs authorities, and drawing lessons from other institutions, countries and organizations.
The course lasted from 10 to 21 February.
