Material for a 4-hour lesson, part of the 10-day Firearms Training Course, developed by the Kosovo Police Service School.

Summary

The goal of this lesson is to introduce the students to the use of cover, and techniques they can use when firing their weapon from cover. This lesson will introduce the students to long range shooting (25 meters) using the
standing, kneeling and prone positions.

At the conclusion of this lesson the students will be able to:

  1. Understand the importance of using Cover and concealment.
  2. Explain the difference between cover and concealment.
  3. Demonstrate techniques for shooting from the dominant and non-dominant sides using Cover.
  4. Fire their weapon in the standing, kneeling and prone positions from 25 meters.
