On 2 June the Office donated equipment for advanced authenticity verification of passports to the Border Troops. Video-spectral comparator with informational-reference system, spectral fluorescent microscope, and compact devices for express authenticity verification, spectral luminescent magnifier and a desktop computer set were installed at the border checkpoint in the newly constructed terminal of Dushanbe International Airport. The equipment will strengthen the capacity in identifying forged and counterfeit travel documents. In July the Office will deliver training on identification of the forged travel documents by usage of contemporary methods and up-to-date equipment to staff of the Border Troops, the State Committee of National Security and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
