From 12 to 15 June the Mission to Skopje organised a regional three-day workshop on real-time data exchange and best practices for officials of the Common Contact Centers (CCC) in the Western Balkan region and EU countries. The participants discussed the challenges arising from performing real-time data exchange, while exchanging experience and problem-solving solutions. Guests from the German Federal Police, FRONTEX, the Greek Police Customs Contact Centre “PCCC” Promachonas, Slovenia and Poland actively contributed to the success of the workshop by presenting their national projects on enhancing real-time information exchange. The attendees also learned about the possible use of SIENA (Secure Information Exchange Network Application) in the data exchange process.
