Part 5 of the Cross-Cutting Issues' sector of the Criminal Justice Assessment Toolkit, produced by the United Nation Office on Drugs and Crime and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) to support joint programming at the country level.
These guidelines are based on international human rights instruments and look at the protection of trafficked children from their identification up to their recovery and integration.
The toolkit is set of tools designed to enable interested parties to conduct comprehensive assessments of criminal justice systems and identify areas of technical assistance. It was developed by the UNODC in close co-operation with the OSCE/SPMU.
This report, produced by the SPMU, contains summaries of presentations and discussions, as well as background information, executive summary, conclusions and recommendations.
