• Module III: Interviewing Vulnerable or Intimidated Persons

  The purpose of this lesson is to enable all relevant staff in the police to recognize and respond to indications of vulnerability or intimidation and to provide the participants with the knowledge and skills to conduct an appropriate interview by exploring the alternatives open to such witnesses, victims or suspects.

• Evaluation report of the Investigative Interviewing course

  This report gives overview of the three subsequent courses of the ‘Investigative Interviewing’ training held in the period of June - July 2007 by the Training Division, Police Development Department, of the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje. Analysis of the feedback forms from the participants and evaluation of the overall course are included.

• Community policing on scooters

  The Police Development Department of the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje, has donated ten scooters to the Ministry of Interior and has organized a training program to improve Community Policing skills of police officers, who will use the police scooters in the field.

• Police Media Relations training workshop

  From 5th till 16th of March 2007 the Police Development Department of the OSCE Spillover Monitor Mission to Skopje has organized Police Media Relations training for future MOI spokespersons.

• Seeking protection from domestic violence: A Handbook for Victims and NPOs

  As part of the Women’s Access to Justice Project, the OSCE Presence in Albania has published this handbook by using a simple language and a “how to” approach (frequently asked questions). The handbook aims to raise awareness on domestic violence and the legal redress mechanisms available to combat it. More specifically, the handbook presents concisely the new law “On Measures against Violence in Family Relations”,which entered into force on 1 June, 2007, and provides practical guidance to victim
