  • Convention against the Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

    This Convention provides comprehensive measures against drug trafficking, including provisions against money laundering and the diversion of precursor chemicals. It provides for international cooperation through, for example, extradition of drug traffickers, controlled deliveries and transfer of proceedings.

  • Convention on Psychotropic Substances

    The Convention establishes an international control system for psychotropic substances. It responded to the diversification and expansion of the spectrum of drugs of abuse and introduced controls over a number of synthetic drugs according to their abuse potential on the one hand and their therapeutic value on the other.

  • Needs Assessment on Terrorism Issues, Tajikistan

    The purpose of this document is to provide an assessment in respect of the perceived needs of the Republic of Tajikistan in its efforts to counter terrorism and to identify areas where support from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe may be deemed appropriate.   • Final report on OSCE-UNODC Joint Expert Conference on "Fighting the threat of illicit drugs"

    The Conference took place in Vienna on 28-29 June 2007 and was designed to facilitate the exchange of information on the production of and trafficking in illicit drugs, to discuss the implementation of relevant OSCE commitments and to consider further measures to enhance international co-operation in fighting the threat of illicit drugs.
